Aston Villa 07/08 Kit Preview
Here is the preview released for Aston Villa’s first Nike manufactured kit. The sportswear giant agreed to make the 2007/08 kit for the club taking over from Danish company Hummel who previously made the Birmingham club’s shirts.

The preview image of Villa’s new kit shows club captain Gareth Barry with the Villa Park ground in the background. Barry has his back turned to camera so fans are yet to see much of the new shirt. There is though the club lion motif on the back of the collar in white. Much of the front of the shirt is in claret, with blue also seen on the kit. The image also includes Aston Villa Football Club’s newly designed club badge and the moto “we start today”.

Doesn’t it annoy you Villa fans that, due to kit sponsor and main sponsor changes, you have had a new home kit EVERY year for the past 11 years??
I find that disgusting, and while Pompey have been fined for it (rightly so), Villa get away scot free!

i may have this wrong, but i think it is the same template as the new atletico madrid shirt (though obviously without the stripes). my loose evidence for this is that they are both raglan sleeves, unlike all the other new nike templates and the back of the collar is the same on both. i could be wrong…

Apart from the fact that it’s against league rules to change it every season, and it’s ripping off Villa fans…..
it is a brilliant kit, i am now doing my work experience at aston villa and i have seen it but i wasnt allowed to take pictures though, i am definately gettin it, bummer for all of you who are dying to see a picture

The new one has the same shape and look of the Man Utd one. Sames neck style just with two colours instead of one borin red..lol.
Villa & Nike wouldnt have this cloud of secrecy around a normal template that they use as teasmwear.
Fulhams is **** because they are buying from a company not direct from Nike like us.

this shirt is 100% fake the real kit has the new 32red logo on which can be found on 32red.com with the 32 in a circle, also look at the difference in the shades of blue between the two pictures, i know this because i have seen the real shirt which is circling bebo although it also may be fake its more convincing than this one
James, Ive seen the one circulating on bebo, and after the taster above i can ASSURE you its not the one on bebo, this is the most convincing image ive seen of what the villa shirt could be

FACT! the kit reo coker was in was in is a training kit FACT! villas away kit for this year is white with claret pin stripes euro cup final style, known from insider information. cough cough, craig gardener cough
sorry to upset you all but the leaked photo is real i work there and they stock pile the shirts off the containers every day ready to be loaded out to all the sports shops main dc centres in the uk. i know who took the pic and 4 people have been suspended because of it.

i am a villa fan but i must admit it is not the bes i had exspected i looks fake but who cares about the kit as long as we play well
It is the kit yet and i hope they keep the same sponser cuz nike is the best one they could.
aston villa hav been doin nice kits 4 the last 2 or 3 seasons and im an Mcfc fan and we do descent kits too…infact the onli one i can thnk of as bein a rubbish kit is…arsenal away…(sorry all u gunners out thre)…but its jus wierd lookin…(once agen relli sorry)
