2009/10 Deportivo La Coruna Home Shirt

After revealing Portsmouth’s new home and away Canterbury shirts, we also now have Deportivo La Coruna’s Home shirt design for the 2009/10 season. La Coruna’s new home shirt features 3 stripes on the front, two white and one blue. The canterbury logo is placed at the top center part of the shirt as well as on the sleeves. The club crest is again placed in the center of the shirt just beneath the shirt manufacturer logo.

  1. Naenia:

Not a fan of Canterbury, but this design seems quite nice. What’s with the skull and crossbones though?

  2. Liam J.C:

Nice. Why can’t Arsenal have canterbury! There designs are great this year.
And Naenia, what skull and crossbones? Maybe I’m blind but I don’t see any.

  3. Liam J.C:

Why can’t Arsenal have Canterbury! I love they’re designs this year and that is another quality kit by them.

  4. Liam J.C:

By the way I just saw the crossbones so nobody nag me about that.

  5. JoseFco:

The skull and crossbones are in the crest of La Coruna City, wich is the Capital city of the Costa da Morte (Death coast) in top northwest of Spain. The crest shows a tower standing atop a rock, and the skull and crossbones within the rocks. In any case, I don’t really like the shirt.

  6. Milán Saravolac:

make it all blue and its practically portsmouths old jersey

  7. Rupert Grint:

I like it. Spurs should dump Puma and sign Canterbury up.

  8. cory:

I think I’ve been more impressed with Canterbury than any other manufacturer in the past 3 years.

  9. cannon06:

Nice template but I don’t like that there’s only one stripe on it. Canterbury have done well considering they’ve only really been on the football scene for a couple of years.

  10. cockney:

I really love it, I’m a Deportivo fan and Canterbury has been doing some great designs for us. To JoseFco, A Coruña is not the capital of the Costa da Morte, but it’s well right that the skull and the bones are part of the city’s crest, symbol of the town and which we are trying to make it part of the World Cultural Heritage, please help us:

  11. Galician:

Nice shirt!, Skull and Crossbones belong to the giant Gerion, killed by Hercules at Hercules’ Tower. The legend says that Hercules founded Corunna after kill Gerion

  12. Endo:

It’s better than the home one of portsmouth 08/09 but with the same template but I would like to see the away one and hope the design would be better and unique

  13. mac1985:

My favourite spanish team, so i’m delighted to see such a great kit. Canterbury always produce good shirts, other brand names should take a leaf out of there books!

  14. Ramalhojr:

These Canterbury drawings are very bad. Althought their templates look good. The small variation between each one gives them a good advantage in the scene.

  15. Watford Boy:

thats a really nice kit canterbury always make classy kits

  16. CC:

If the real kit looks as good as the drawings, should be very nice.

  17. Diego:

    nice team, nice shirt !

  18. Endo:

Finally,Deportivo’s shirt will make by Lotto

  19. Manny:

Yeap, looks like Lotto will be making the shirts for 09/10, Deportivo broke their contract with Canterbury which should have run through 2011, to bad, I liked Canterbury.

  20. Murat:

The skull and crossbone is because of their nickname “Los Turcos”.
In their state of mind back in the day, Turco meant “pirate” bcs ottoman navy were dominant in the mediterranean sea.
