2009 Umbro Universitario de Deportes Kits

Universitario de Deportes is Peruvian based club from Lima.The club currently play in the Primera Division Peruviana and finished last season as runner-up.

The club’s new home kit is mainly white and features a classic style red collar and red sleeve ends. Umbro, shirt manufacturer, have their logo placed on the top right part of the shirt as well as on the right sleeve with the club logo placed on the opposite left. Club sponsor Grupo Santo Domingo has its logo placed in the center front of the shirt.

Universitario’s Away shirt is mainly red featuring a white classic collar and white sleeve ends. Umbro have its logo placed on the top right of the chest as well as on the right sleeve with the club logo placed on the opposite left, just above the heart. Grupo Santo Domingo’s logo is placed in the center of the shirt.

    Very nice strip. Wonder if this is an indication that Umbro will be bringing the flappy collars and laces to their strips next season…or maybe even the new England strip? Hope so, it adds a touch of flair, while still looking classy.
