2009 Celtic Bumble Bee Away Shirt
Scottish League runners-up Celtic Glasgow have already unveiled the kit that they will be using for European encounters in the UEFA Champions League 2009/10, should they progress to the group stage from the third qualifying round. Now, the away shirt of the club has been leaked, and some sources on the internet are showing a bumble bee style shirt for the matches played away from Celtic Park. A similar shirt was manufactured by Umbro for the club between 1994 and 1996.
Their kits are now manufactured by Nike, which is now the parent company of Umbro, and it seems that this leak will actually be the real thing that Celtic will wear for away games next season. It is a shirt horizontally hooped in black and fluorescent yellow. Celtic are managerless at the time of this post, as Gordon Strachan has resigned after his team lost the title in the final match of the season by drawing 0-0 against Hearts while their rivals Rangers won against Dundee United by 3-0. Strachan won 3 leagues, 2 league cups, and the Scottish cup once. They failed to retain the league after they won it three times in a row between 2006 and 2008. Strachan’s successor will find a great team with immense potential, a talented squad, and a probable place in the Champions League.

We are discussing this for 1 week and came to the final conclusion it is photoshopped. Though a few Celtic Supporters assured us, this photo is being done in an irish pub in madrid, near a Nike office/creation department and was shoot at a celtic match and gathering of the local madrid celtic supporters club.
Yes, they will probably have a bumble bee shirt, yes ist is likely that the forthcoming shirt looks like this but there are clear evidences, that the picture is photoshopped.
The picture itself is larger and you see 3 people in total.
Someone who pretended to be at the sight and even in that photo(i doubt that)said it is kind of a prototype and not yet clear. I think this is not very likely,as they launch the shirt in aug/sept and will clearly have started to produce it, at least have an idea how it will look like.
Judge by yourself, maybe nike asks to remove this picture as well. As for the design: i like it and would love to have it exactly that way. But i dont know if it is true or not.

its definitely not photoshopped – the full image was in the papers at weekend (keep up!) and it is certainly a man wearing a luminous and black hooped top.
Whether or not its a fake is a different story…
That’s all we need after this season. 2 terrible away kits for next year. Let’s hope they show some ambition where the new manager is concerned.
Loved the bumble bee top first time round. Reminds me of that cracking team the late Tommy Burns assembled. Lets hope we get a Manager in with at least half Tommys vision. Faithfull through and through!

No Mr. tomskadomski you better switch towards the celtic site and read! It is the new INTERNATIONAL Away shirt. Not the away shirt. The same like in 2006. They had a home and an away + an international away.The white with the yellow-green stripe on the side of the heart(unless you have situs inversus!)

Probably faked. The lines at the top and bottom of the Carling logo should be the same colour as the main body of the shirt. Here they appear to be green as in the Celtic home shirt. In saying that, Nike has asked for this image to be removed from other shirt sites so there may still be something in it.

Rangers are champions because of celtics weakness, but clearly not because of your their own strenght. So next season the teedybears are being thrashed midweek by clubs that are times better than Vilnius or Zenit St.Petersburg.

im a hearts fan but i have always liked the bumble bee style celtic shirt and although this does look photoshopped i hope it’s real.

you can tell it is photoshopped/fake because the badge is yellow and black instead of whit and green!!!
as i said its exactly the same crest/badge that brown wore in goal for celtic against burns select around a week ago. its defo the kit.the carling sign may be slightly diff though, but sponser apart, this is the kit girls

yep on the celtic site it says ” theres a buzz about the place ” so i think this pretty much means we are going to have the bumble bee top back . And to be honest rangers fans always go on about how our tops are the same every year well this one is certainly different but iam looking forward to the new season MOGGA 1
