What no. are Anderson, Nani & Hargreaves going to be?

The new Manchester United kit is quite cool and but I think it looks a bit too plain long sleeve. The one at the moment is only for one year. When i went up to United, I asked a member of staff at the megastore and he said that they are changing the kit after one year.

Nani, Hargreaves & Anderson Man Utd Shirt Numbers?

Does any one know what number Anderson, Nani and Hargreaves are yet?

Hargreaves’ number is unsure of. If Kieran Richardson and/or Gabriel Heinze leave then he will get either the number 4 or number 23 shirt. If niether leave he will get number 12.

Anderson is definately no.10 as Manchester United website suggests. Nani no.14 as Smithy is leaving, 17 for Hargreaves and fingers crossed no.23 for Huntelaar!!

Anderson will be number 10 (he will get a work permit providing he plays most of the Copa America)

Nani will either be 32 or 17, but we’ll see what number he is in the under-21 championships.

I’d imagine Hargreaves will be 23, as Richardson will almost definately be sold, likely to West Brom or Sunderland.

Number 10 is a typical striker’s number so Man U will save that for when they sign a striker due to their lack of players in the attacking third of the pitch. So I think the numbers will go like this:

Owen Hargreaves: 12
Almeida Nani: 17
Anerson Abreu: 25

Its a disgrace & a stupid decision for Gabriel Heinze, one of the best defenders in Man United, to be demoted to No.14. All done just to accommodate hargreaves.Heinze is much better than Evra, who is more of a winger.
