   This picture doesn’t show the back, and unfortunately the name/number are in blue instead of black! I don’t understand, it doesn’t really match.

   Have the actually changed the logo much? ‘Cos from what I can see they’ve just changed some colours around (gold instead of black in the centre circle and white letters instead of yellow) and got rid of the star next to the C. Has anyone got a link to a proper pic of the new logo?

    and their new sponsor is still not revealed although it is said to be Fly Emirates (supported by their involvement in the emirates cup that has all the teams sponsored by Emirates)

    What a kit!!! Amazing! Bit dogey with the red cross but like the logo. Its also good that the sponsor is smaller, because they take over the shirts at the moment.

    If I remember my Italian history correctly it’s the flag of St Ambrose rather than St George. St Ambrose is the patron saint of Milan like George is of England.

    It’s a pretty sweet shirt. Got one off eBay for £15.

    ok, once and for all…the cross on the Inter Milan jersey is the Cross of St George! And the cross of St George first appeared as a battle flag in the Battle of Legnano (near Milan), on May 29, 1176, when the Lombards (inhabitants of Lombardy fought a fierce battle against the Empire troops). The battle of Legnano represents a major historical moment in the independence of Northern Italy and the Lombardy region. The Cross of St George has since been associated with the region historical heritage.

    i understand the reason/history behind this away shirt but personally i dont really like it. i think it maybe the colours that are used! for me, anything red/white/black reminds me of scummy ac milan.

    i dunno why fc inter have reverted back to that older badge though!? i was glad when they changed it a few years back! that one last season and a few previous looks so much better then this older one they’re using again.

    im guessing there using it for the ‘100 years’ strips only and will eventually go back to that other more modern looking crest in time for the 2008-2009 season. [i hope!]
