New 2007/08 Manchester City Home Shirt
Here it is the first photo of the new Man City shirt for 07/08 season:
City’s Pinstriped New 07/08 Shirt
It is modelled by young midfielder Michael Johnson, a player with big prospects who captained the Manchester City youth team in their FA Youth Cup run of 2005/06 and made his full team debut this season.
The new shirt is made by Le Coq Sportif and is in light blue with white pinstripes. The manufacturer’s logo is on the right shoulder, it has a small collar and the club badge is centerally located just below that collar. Sponsors Thomas Cook have their website domain name in the centre of the new City home shirt.

Not as bad as i expected. Still not happy about going back to LCS but lets hope the quality is better than last time.
The sponsor logo is too large and obnoxious. The stripes are out of fashion. It’s horrible. I wouldn’t use it to wipe my hands after eating ribs. It’s fit for the League Championship level, maybe lower. I don’t think Berbatov would select it to wear. The more I comment, the worse it gets in my mind. Pathetic.
That shirt is rubbish. Why go back to LCS the reebok kit for this season is much better than that. Still they still know how to rip the fans off!

Well, I was resigned to the fact it was going to be LCS.
First impression was, eeeuggh.. on account of the pinstripes, other pictures make the collar look baggy too.
BUT, the shorts are white!! (and the sleeves) thank god, and it was a much better deal for the club than reebok, 10m over 4 years, so if it can buy a decent player then its worth it.
Regarding ripping the fans off: at least they will wear it for 2 years, and it will be the cheapest shirt in the league, (£30 for adult + discounts for season ticket holders) so there are some positives!

I think this is recently the second best kit. The best in my opinion is the reebok one before the current one, but apart for the possitioning of LCS logo everything else is great. Kit is simple, has pinstripes that brings something new, and there is no unnecessery piping. If the price is right, I’ll buy it.

I actually like that shirt,something a little different.Think us City fans are lucky,atleast our shirts dont look exactly the same each seaon i.e Blackburn,Newcastle and basically most teams in the prem tbh..Was told the other night that the City away shirt will be the same design as the home but purple..cant find on pics of it tho!
Oh, and i hope the badge is embroided on this time around,those sticker type badges we had with Reebok looked well tacky, especially the first one we had

its smart but leqoqsportif is abit **** so well just sums of citys season so hopefuly thely play good in the shirt !!!!

i hate that picture of it the badge is to high near the colar and sos the sposer look how high they both are put them down a litlle bit and get rid of those stripes sort of
