New Liverpool Grey Away Shirt

Liverpool & AC Milan Shirts For European Cup Final

Posted on May 4th, 2007 in Liverpool by 01news

AC Milan have been selected as the home team for the Champions League final, but they have chosen to wear their white away shirts, which they consider lucky in Europe, wearing them the first time they won the European Cup in 1963 when they beat Benfica at Wembley.

Gattuso chases Gerrard in Istanbul 2005 Final

This means that Liverpool will wear their traditional red home shirts on Wednesday 23rd May when the two clash  in the final. The English side will hope that it is a good sign for them as it was wearing their home red shirts against the white of Milan, that Liverpool won their fifth European Cup in Istanbul, in 2005.
