My worst five of the selection :

    1. Mexico goalkeeper (LSD psychotic nightmare)
    2. Chelsea (nauseating ‘graphite’ & tangerine kitchen design)
    3. Norwich (Hyacinth Bucket)
    4. Hull (Bet Lynch)
    5. Coventry (brown incident)

Who actually puts these lists together?
    Boring ******** blatantly.
Lighten up a bit - the majority of these kits are fantastic and memorable for all the right reasons.
Jorge Campos’ Mexico keeper kits were literally outstanding.
The world of football is full of mundane and dull shirts - the examples above show kits from an era where shirt design were not all ruled by manufacturers templates.
    Oh the joy.

I think that Cameroon, Aston Villa and Mexico was very nice!

The worst is Mexico, and I think Cameroon was very nice! Fine concept!

I think the Cameroon shirt was OK. FIFA made Cameroon put sleeves on them, so Cameroon added black sleeves to make it look like they were still sleeveless!

Jorge Campos was as flamboyant as his shirts (I think he designed them himself). Only Campos, Rene Higuita and Carlos Valderrama could get away with wearing them. Otherwise they look like ‘ASBO-sportswear’ !

I think the Cameroon and Mexico green shirts are very nice and curiously the shirt of the mexican GK is the worst i ever seen

  11. Da Molusk said,

Jorge Campos´s shirts were the trademark of this Mexican star. When have England had a goalkeeper that scored more domestic goals that Micheal Owen has in the past four years?
    ¡Viva México! Pinches puñales

  12. aaron said,

    i dont like them

  13. brad said,

i dont like the tigers… i mean hulls shirt

Funny Coventry’s brown shirt is always mentioned, but Tottenham’s never is. The people doing this are clueless. Check out Dave Moors football shirt website, or John Devlin’s books, there are shirts worse than these.

  15. D King said,

Check out Dave Moors’ work which is brilliant.

Sheffield United Home 1995 (Avec/Wards) is the worst in my opinion as it is a home shirt of a fairly big club. Diamonds for stripes aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

  16. Ken Bollocks said,

arsenal’s early 80’s curious blue and green away kit(umbro) was mental as arseholes

  17. Ken Bollocks said,

chelseas jade green away kit of mid 80’s as well was bizarre,it was almost same colour as home kit,ken bates on acid probably

  18. Ken Bollocks said,

spurs letting their last 2 shirt sponsors put their red logos on their shirts is a form of prostitution

  19. mackem-lad said,

by the way Gavin Newcastle’s away kit this season was really bad, worse than any kit SAFC or Boro have had. tht mexican keeper though he looked like a pinata im suprised no kids came on with baseball bats trying to find the sweets after they have smacked him.

  20. mackem-lad said,

and by the way i thought the mexico home was pretty nice

  21. brn442 said,

The Villa shirt was annoying. The Chelsea shirt never worked. The Cameroon shirt was actually good, albeit illegal. It’s funny how the Coventry shirt is aging well - every year it looks better. Forgive the Arsenal, Norwich, and Mexico shirts as they were designed when ecstacy was the drug of choice - explains alot. Honourable mentions:
92/3 Birmingham Home - explains itself
    2003 Liverpool away - ?
    1990 Newcastle home - fashion
94 southhampton home - Pony got their money’s worth
