Fabio Da Silva playsd for Cardiff City where he signed for the club from Manchester United in 2014. Fabio Da Silva began his youth career at Fluminense in 2005 where he was converted from a defensive midfielder to a full back. After attracting much interest from some of Europe's larger clubs, Fabio and his brother Raphael move to Manchester United in January 2008.
However, they were unable to take part in any matches until they turned 18 in July 2008. He made his first appearance for the Premier League champions in the club's 2-0 friendly victory over Peterborough in August 2008. He has since been a regular in the Manchester United reserve team.
His debut for the team was delayed until January 2009, due to injury, where he came on as a substitute during the FA Cup 4th round victory over Tottenham. He made his league debut for United in August 2009 on the opening day of the 09/10 Premier League season in the 1-0 victory against Birmingham. His second start arrived in the Carling Cup encounter against Wolves but he was red carded for a professional foul after half hour.
Fabio has played international football for Brazil U17s to date. He was captain of the Brazil team at the U17 World Cup where he managed to score twice. He is also considering switching his allegiances to Portugal if he does not get picked for the Brazilian full national team in the future.
