Euro 2008 Stadium & City Guide

The European Championshipes are being hosted jointly by Austria & Switzerland, each host has four cities that will have games during the tournament. Euro 2008 kicks off with Switzerland playing the Czech Republic at Basel's St. Jakob Park and ends 22 days later in Austria for the final at Vienna's Ernst Happel stadium.

Cities Hosting

The four cities hosting in Switzerland are the political capital Bern, Geneva; Switzerland's second largest city, Basel; located in north-west on the river Rhine & Zurich the largest Swiss city and the main commercial and cultural centre.

Innsbruck in the Tyrol region of western Austria, Mozart's birthplace Salzburg, Klagenfurt and the capital Vienna are hosting Austria's Euro 2008 games.
