Estonia Football
Estonia, a northern eueopean country played their first game of international football in 1920 against Finland losing six nil, but by 1940 they were annexed by the Soviet Union and did not appear on the international scence again untill 1991, when they regained their independence. That fixture was against Lithuania in the Baltic Cup, who Estonia have their biggest wins in history, both 6-0 scorelines in 1923 & 1928.
The player who has pulled on Estonia's shirt the most times is midfielder Martin Reim, he was the dubious honour of being the player with the world's most international appearances, but has never played at a World Cup Finals. Estonia have not graced the full world stage, they haven't made the finals of either a World Cup or European Championships.
The Estonian national kit is a blue shirt with black shorts & blue socks. Away from home Estonia wear a strip of white shirt & socks with black shorts.
