El Salvador Football
The El Salvador national football team played their first international against Costa Rica losing seven nil in Guatemala City, Guatemala on September 14th, 1921.
El Salvador play their home games in a strip of white shirts, shorts and socks with an away strip of all blue. They do not feature often in the top ranks, but have made two World Cups, but lost all six games they have played, including a World Cup record 10-1 defeat against Hungary in 1982.
