The Ecuador national football team played their first international against Bolivia drawing 1-1 in Santiago, Bolivia on the 8th August 1938. They play their home games in yellow shirts, blue shorts and red socks. The shirt has not been worn with much success as the side is considered one of the weakest in South America.
