FC Dynamo Kiev, formerly referred to by the Russian name Dinamo Kiev, is the main professional football club in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev. Dynamo were formed in 1927 when they were an amatuer team, Kiev play their home games in the 83,000 capacity Olimpiyskiy Stadion in Kiev.
Dynamo Kiev wear blue shirts with white shoulders and blue shorts. The blue shirt has been famously worn wining the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1975, 1986 and 1999. Kiev now often feature in the European Champions League.
