Peter Crouch England kit

Peter James Crouch was born in Macclesfield, Cheshire on 30th January 1981, he is 6 ft 7 inches tall and at that height is the tallest player ever to represent England internationally.

Crouch began his football career with Queens Park Rangers, he scored ten league goals in his first season, he moved on to Portsmouth were he hit the back of the net 18 times in 37 starts.

March 2002 saw Peter move to Aston Villa for 5 million pounds, whilst things started well at Villa Park, eventually Crouch struggled for first team football opportunities and moved to Norwich City on loan (where he helped them to win the Championship in 2004.

2004 saw Crouch move on again to Southampton for just £2 million where he scored 16 goals in 33 games in 2004/5, not enough to save the Saints from relegation. Liverpool picked up the striker for £7 million.

At Liverpool he won the FA Cup in 2006 and got his first international cap.
