Dallas Cowboys Football
The Cowboys from the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas are an American football team in the Eastern Division of the National Football Conference. From 1966 to 1996 the Cowboys saw great success, qualifing for the playoffs 24 times, reaching 14 NFC Championship Games, winning 19 Eastern division titles, and appearing in eight Super Bowls.
Went the Dallas Cowboys started in 1960, the Cowboy's logo was just a blue star on white helmets. The team wore blue jerseys with white sleeves & a small white star on each shoulder. The Cowboy's socks had two horizontal stripes overlapping the blue.
The logo was changed in 1964 to have a white border to outline the star and in 1967 this was switched to make the white around the star a pinstripe. The logo remains the same today and can be seen on Dallas's helmets for every game.
Nowadays the Cowboys wear white home shirts which helps in the heat of Texas to keep players cool and forces the opposition to wear darker jerseys. The Dallas numbering & lettering on the shirts is royal blue, as are the socks and stripes on the sleeves of the jersey.
