Colorado Rapids Football
The Colorado Rapids formed in 1996 and represent Denver, Colorado as their Major League Soccer franchise. They play their home games at the 76,000 seater INVESCO Field at Mile High, 1701 Bryant Street, Denver, which they share with the Denver Bronco's American Football team.
Colorado play their home games in a soccer kit of blue and black vertical striped shirts, black shorts and black socks. The Rapids have been losing finalists in the 1997 MLS Cup and the 1999 US Open Cup, their current plans are to move to a new soccer only stadium in the town of Commerce City around 2007.
