Colombia Football
The Colombia national football team played their first international match against Mexico in Panama City, Panama on the 10th of February 1938 losing 3-1. Colombia play their home games in a strip comprising yellow shirts, blue shorts and red socks. Their away shirts are blue, with white shorts and red socks.
The Colombian shirt has featured at four World Cups without any significant impact. Goalkeeper Rene Higuita, Juan Pablo Angel, Faustino Asprilla, Andres Escobar (murdered after an own goal at USA 94) and Carlos Valderrama are a few of the famous names to have pulled on the Colombian national shirt over the years.
