Chester City Football
Chester City Football Club, founded in 1885 are from the City of Chester in Cheshire. Nickmamed the Blues after their home shirts, they play their home games in the 6,000 capacity Saunders Honda (Deva) Stadium, built in 1991 and was the first in the English leagues to comply with the recommendations following the Hillsborough disaster (Taylor report).
Chester's home kit is a strip of blue and white striped shirts, with blue shorts and socks. Away from home it is yellow shirts, shorts and socks. Ian Rush was the greatest player to come out of the club, he began his career from school wearing the blue shirt of Chester and went on play for Liverpool and represent Wales internationally.
