Charlton Athletic Football
Charlton Athletic were formed in 1905 and probably hold the record for the club with the most nicknames including the Addicts, the Valiants or the Robins. They also have possibly a record in the most ground changes with 9 to date some of these being ground shares at Selhurst and Upton Parks prior to the return to Greenwich in 1992. Charlton play their home games today at The Valley, Floyd Road, London.
Charlton wear a home strip comprising red shirts which have been worn by such names as Sam Bartram, Allan Simonsen, Derek Hales, Paolo Di Canio and Richard Rufus. The Charlton all time record goal scorer is Stuart Leary with 153 between 1953-62.
