The Cumbrians stuck to their traditional colour of choice for their 2023/24 Umbro home. The staircase-like white graphic with pops of red on the corners reminded some of the patterned designs popular in the ’90s. The same colour accents informed the collar and sleeve cuffs with their offset edge pinstripe bordering.

In contrast to the home, Carlisle United’s 2023/24 Umbro away went with something bolder. Through an abstract camo graphic design, hints of black, yellow and pink pop all over the shirt, accompanied by some random blocks of ribbed visuals. Black was retained on the sleeve cuffs and collar, both of which had white bordering.

The striking detail on the shirt was the all-over pattern of chevron lines, abstractly going parallel and intersecting  and most coloured orange and crimson. As such, the graphics gave the outfit a tile-like, textured look. A touch of white accented at the back half of the round collar.

The blues as they are known play their home games in a kit of blue shirts, with the away strips seeing a variety over the years.
