Bury Football

Bury were formed in 1885 and were founder members of the Lancashire League in 1889. They play their home games at the 11,669 capacity Gigg Lane Stadium, Bury in Greater Manchester, which has been their home since they were formed.

Bury are known as the Shakers and for home fixtures wear white shirts with blue sleeves, blue shorts and white socks. The Bury away kit is all yellow and the shirt has been pulled on by quite a few players who played at the top of the game including Terry McDermott, Lee Dixon, Neville Southall and Roger Stanislaus.
