Benfica Football
Sport Lisboa e Benfica better known as SL Benfica, Benfica or Benfica Lisbon were founded in 1904 as Sport Lisboa, changing their name in 1908 after merging with Sport Club de Benfica. They play their home games in the 65,000 capacity Estadio da Luz in Portugal.
Benfica play their home games in a kit of red shirts, white shorts and red socks. The most famous player to pull on the red shirt was Eusbio who helped the club to win two European cups in 1961 and 1962.
