FK Austria Wien or Austria Vienna were formed in March 1911 as the Wiener Amateur Sportvereinigung, changing their name to Austria in 1926 when the club became professional. FK Austria Wien play their home games in the Horr Stadion, Vienna, Austria built in 1974 and with a capacity of 11,600.
FK Austria Wien play their home games in violet and white striped shirts, white shorts and socks, with the away a white shirt with violet sleeves, violet shorts and socks. The club has a proud record with over 20 Austrian Championships, many Austrian Cups, half a dozen Austrian Super Cups and two Mitropa Cup European trophies.
