Atletico Madrid Football
Club Atletico de Madrid were founded on April 26, 1903, they have had several names during their life, having started as an affilated club of Athletic Bilbao. Athletico Madrid play their home games in the 57,000 capacity Vicente Caldern Stadium, Paseo Virgen del Puerto 67, 28005 Madrid.
Atletico play their home games in a strip comprising red and white striped shirts they originally played in blue and white, but changed to the new strip around 1911. Club Atletico de Madrid is the arch-rival of near neighbours Real Madrid Club de Futbol and also Futbol Club Barcelona with all of three of them currently competing in the Primera Division of Spain.
