Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht known as Anderlecht were founded in 1908, when they were known as Sporting Club Anderlechtois. They play their home games in the 26,000 capacity Constant Vanden Stock Stadium, Parc Astrid, Anderlecht in Brussels, Belgium.
Anderlecht wear a kit of white with purple flashes for their home games and the reverse of purple with white flashes away. Their club badge which is quite ornate has the initials of the original club name SCA within it. The club colours have been worn whilst winning many european and Belgian trophies including the UEFA Cup, European Super Cup, Cup Winners Cup and Belgian League Championship.

Belgium international Luc Nilis also appeared in Anderlecht's colours and so did Nigerian Celestine Babayaro before his move to Chelsea and giant Czech centre-forward Jan Koller.
